5. RAECS Donates food to NHS

RAECS donates hot lunch food to Queen’s Hospital Staff and key workers.

Rainham Asian Education & Cultural Society (RAECS) has donated 60 lunch meals to thank the NHS frontline workers at Queens Hospital in Havering.

RAECS was formed and established in Rainham as a charitable non-profit organisation, for the purposes of the provision of general community services.

Councillor Jefferey Tucker of Rainham & Wennington ward, along with Mr Dedar Shah, owner of Le Hope Indian Restaurant, was supporting the project. Councillor Jefferey Tucker thanked RAECS organisation and their supporters for their hard work in organising the food for the workers of Queens Hospital. Councillor went onto to say how NHS staff was doing a fabulous job in keeping residents of Havering safe.
